New Jersey Congressman, Jim Saxton recognized our book, Seasons of the Pines, as an outstanding depiction of the beauty of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. 

The 1.1 million acre area of the Pine Barrens is included in the 3rd District that Saxton represents in Congress.  Saxton, as been a tireless supporter for local environmental projects. He is the vice chairman of the House Fisheries Conservation, Wildlife and Oceans Subcommittee, and is one of the senior members of the Resources Committee. He represents LBI, Barnegat Bay, the Forsythe Wildlife Refuge, and the Jacques Cousteau Estuarine Research Reserve.
